Recently Alpha was invited to an interesting talk called \u201cConversations on Migration\u201d at Uprooted Theater. Thanks to the interlocution of Emily, our colleague and one of the founders of Uprooted Theater, the activity turned into a warm conversation between Alpha and the attendees.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alpha<\/strong>‘s testimony was listened to with much attention and respect. Through his story he shared the experience of many migrants, mainly young people, who live complex realities from the moment they leave their country of origin. When they arrive at their destination, a new challenge begins: inclusion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Emily<\/strong> also intervened in the conversation to talk about the work being done by Di\u00e1logos Para Construir<\/strong>. The audience had an outstanding participation, asking Alpha<\/strong> questions and expressing their interest in the work carried out by DPC<\/strong>. We were delighted with the enthusiasm with which this activity was received!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We thank our friends Randa, Jenny, Emily<\/strong>, and all the other people who make the community of artists Uprooted Theatre<\/strong>, for consistently supporting DPC<\/strong> with their events. It was wonderful that a Raindrops<\/strong> action was part of your stage!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We highlight and admire, as always, Alpha<\/strong>‘s bravery in sharing his story! From our Raindrops Program<\/strong>, we wish that every awareness action, DROP BY DROP<\/strong>, contributes to dispel \u2014and, why not\u2014 to eliminate racist behaviors in the host community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
