Sandy Nahlous Chamma was one of the most extraordinary human beings who has ever lived. She brought joy to all of those who knew her with a contagious smile, easy laughter, and well timed joke. She was a force of nature at four foot eight, and her impact on the community in which she lived was shown by the hundreds of mourners at her funeral service.

We have created her memorial fund to honor this legacy; to provide opportunities and safety for young migrants just like she once was. Through this fund, Salwa can continue to be a force for change and generosity, even as she rests in peace. She is not done making the world a safer, happier place to be, and we hope that through the charitable donations in her name, she will never truly be gone.
