Diálogos Para Construir recognized as a Public Benefit Organization

At Diálogos Para Construir, we are proud to share very important news for our organization and for everyone who is part of this project: the Spanish Ministry of the Interior has officially recognized us as a Public Benefit Organization (Entidad de Utilidad Pública). This recognition was published in the Official State Gazette (BOE) on April 16, 2026, through Order INT/343/2026 of March 24.

This distinction, granted to associations whose work generates a positive social impact and serves the public interest, represents a significant institutional endorsement of the work we have been carrying out for years in support of migrant communities in Seville and across Andalusia. Being recognized as a Public Benefit Organization validates our social commitment, the financial transparency and soundness of our management, and the value of the initiatives we promote in favor of inclusion, human rights, and transcultural coexistence.

For DPC, this milestone represents an important opportunity for growth and sustainability. Among other benefits, individuals and companies that make financial contributions to Diálogos Para Construir may now qualify for tax deductions through Spain’s income tax system (IRPF), helping to encourage donations and support that contribute to the continuity of our projects and programs.

This recognition strengthens our ability to continue supporting migrants in key areas such as legal regularization, access to employment and housing, social inclusion, and the creation of support networks. In today’s complex social context, sustaining this work is more important than ever.

We would like to express our gratitude to the members of DPC’s Board of Directors who dedicated their time and effort throughout this process. We see this recognition as further motivation to continue working alongside migrant communities and host communities to help build a more inclusive and compassionate society.
